October 31, 2011 Louise Andres has been nominated to serve as District Governor 2014-15 I am very pleased to announce that Louise Andres, Past President of the Rotary Club of La Jolla Golden Triangle, has been selected by the Nominating Committee as the District Governor Nominee Designate for Rotary Year 2014-2015. In our district, Louise has served as a Foundation Mentor, District Incoming Scholar Chair, District Conference Chair, District Strategic Planning leader, Strategic Visioning Chair, District Services Committee Chair, Host Counselor for a Rotary Scholar, Assistant Governor, and Governor’s Chief of Staff. She was honored as District Rotarian of the Year for 2009. She is a graduate of the District Leadership Development Academy and the District Masters Level Leadership Academy. Outside our district, she has been a Paul Harris Society member for eight years and currently a Major Donor, led Strategic Planning sessions for two other districts as well as PETS committees, served as moderator for a session on Rotary Friendship Exchange at the Rotary International Convention in New Orleans, visited clubs across the US and around the world, including the District 9270’s District Conference in Durban, South Africa, authoring and completed a matching grant for South Africa, been very active in the Rotary International Travel and Hosting Fellowship for the past 6 years, and has been very active in numerous local community service activities. Persuant to Rotary Bylaws, all challenges to the Nominating Committee selection must be received by District Office not later than November 10, 2011.
